The portion of Florida's Atlantic Coast encompassing Jupiter Inlet and the
Loxahatchee River is small in area. Yet, as the confluence
of a free flowing river, a navigable estuary, and the open sea, it has
accrued a rich history, spanning the centuries from original Native American cultures
