Loxahatchee River Mile 6 Oxbow Restoration Project
The Jupiter Inlet District awarded this contract to Arbor, Tree, & Land, Inc on December 15th, 2023.
The current timeline for the project to begin is April 2024.

The Jupiter Inlet District has advertised a contract for the Loxahatchee River Mile 6 Oxbow Restoration Project. Project work lies within the northwest fork of the Loxahatchee River and generally consists of closing an existing oxbow breach by constructing a rock sill and backfilling with sediment dredged from the overwash fan, repairing three (3) nearby existing rock structures, and installing red mangroves as shown on the project drawings. The selected contractor must complete the project within 120 days from Notice to Proceed.
Bids will be opened at 2:00PM EST on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the JID office at 400 North Delaware Blvd, Jupiter, Florida 33458.
